Foot Care

Ayurveda considers foot care (Pada Abhyanga) vital for circulation, sleep, and nerve health. Daily washing, thorough drying between toes, and warm oil massage help prevent cracking and numbness—important in diabetic foot, where reduced sensation increases risk. For fungal infection, keep feet dry, change socks, and consider herbal washes with neem or triphala; avoid sharing towels. Open wound care needs medical supervision: clean gently, protect with sterile dressing, and do not apply irritants. For plantar psoriasis, moisturize, avoid harsh soaps, and use soothing oils like coconut with gentle exfoliation
